DENVER – October 25, 2006 – TrenStar, Inc.'s U.S. keg management unit, MicroStar Keg Management is celebrating its 10th anniversary managing kegs for the US’s premiere breweries, cideries and importers. For 10 years, MicroStar’s keg outsource program has provided a valuable service to the brewing industry, allowing brewers to concentrate on their craft while growing draught sales to unprecedented levels. MicroStar’s expertise and commitment to supporting its brewery partners has led to the creation of a keg management category all its own.
As quoted by David Webster, “MicroStar is proud to support the dynamic growth and immense success of our brewery clients over the last 10 years. By utilizing MicroStar’s unique keg management solution, our brewery partners have expanded their draught distribution throughout the US and beyond, increasing their presence in existing territories, entering into brand new markets, and in the process bringing the US’s best specialty products to a wider audience. Especially during these recent turbulent times of increased transportation and stainless costs, the MicroStar program remains a proven keg management solution that delivers results in local and non-local markets, providing opportunities for breweries to strengthen their entire draught program – for a predictable per-use fee. A very deserving ‘thank you’ goes out to all of MicroStar’s clients, without whom this special milestone wouldn’t have been possible”
During this 10-year span, MicroStar has gone from shipping its first keg in November, 1996 to having 470,000 kegs in circulation in every US state, servicing 140 brewery clients that trade with over 1,600 distributors throughout the US and Europe today.
September, 2006 also marked the 8th year for MicroStar as the keg sponsor for the Great American Beer Festival, held each fall in Denver, CO. This year’s event celebrated its 25th anniversary with record-setting attendance. |
